  • No! Our program is designed for beginners. Whether you're entering the workforce for the first time or making a career change, we'll teach you everything you need to know to begin your career as a dental assistant.

  • Applicants must:

    • Be at least 17 years old

    • Have a high school diploma or GED

    • Complete a background check

    • Have reliable transportation

  • Our program is a 16-week semester, with classes held every Saturday from 8:00 AM to approximately 3:00 PM.

    We intentionally designed our program to give students more time for hands-on practice and repetition than many accelerated programs.

  • Many dental assisting programs move quickly through material, leaving students feeling underprepared. At ADAI, we believe confidence comes from repetition, practice, and real clinical experience. Our semester format allows students to truly develop their skills before entering the workforce.

  • We intentionally limit each cohort to 6 students per instructor.

    Small class sizes allow for individualized instruction, more hands-on practice, and one-on-one mentorship.

  • Classes are held inside Tooth and Tox, a modern dental office located in Acworth, Georgia, providing students with training in a real clinical environment.

  • Upon successful completion of the program, students receive:

    • Certificate of Completion

    • CPR Certification (if completed during the program)

    • Dental Radiography Certification

  • Atlanta Dental Assisting Institute is a private dental assisting training program. While accreditation is not required to become a dental assistant in many settings, our curriculum is designed to prepare students with the knowledge, clinical skills, and professionalism expected in today's dental offices.

    Students complete a required 40-hour externship after Week 6.

    While ADAI provides guidance and hiring connections when available, students are responsible for securing their externship placement. Placement is not guaranteed.

  • Unlike many accelerated dental assisting programs, ADAI follows a 16-week semester format that allows students more time to learn, practice, and build confidence.

    Students train inside a real dental office, receive extensive hands-on experience, and gain exposure to modern dentistry, including digital scanning, Invisalign workflow, cosmetic procedures, and patient communication. Our goal is to develop skilled, professional, and career-ready dental assistants prepared for today's dental industry.

    • Black scrubs

    The school provides:

    Because classes are held only on Saturdays, many students are able to continue working while completing the program.

  • Tuition for the Atlanta Dental Assisting Institute program is $5,000.

    Tuition includes:

    There are no hidden fees.

  • Yes! We offer flexible payment plans designed to make tuition more manageable.

    Students may choose between:

    • Weekly automatic payments of $300

    • Bi-weekly automatic payments of $600

    Once enrolled, students will complete a Payment Agreement and select their preferred payment schedule. Automatic payments will begin according to the student's enrollment agreement and must be paid in full by Week 15 of the program.

    If a payment is declined or missed, students should contact the school immediately. Every effort will be made to work with students experiencing temporary financial hardship; however, continued non-payment may result in suspension from clinical participation or dismissal from the program.

  • No.

    Applying to ADAI is completely free.

    Once accepted, students must submit a $500 non-refundable Enrollment Deposit to reserve their seat in the upcoming cohort.

    The Enrollment Deposit is applied toward the student's total tuition.

  • If a payment is missed or declined, the student will be contacted to update their payment information.

    Depending on the circumstances, students may be temporarily paused from clinical participation until their account is brought current. Continued non-payment may result in dismissal from the program.

    Each situation is reviewed individually, and we encourage students to communicate with us as soon as possible if financial hardships arise.

  • The Enrollment Deposit is non-refundable and is required to reserve a student's seat. The deposit is applied toward the student's tuition balance.

    Before the Program Begins

    More than 30 days before the program start date

    • Students who withdraw will receive a refund of any tuition paid beyond the non-refundable Enrollment Deposit.

    8–30 days before the program start date

    • Students who withdraw will receive a refund equal to 50% of the tuition payments received, excluding the non-refundable Enrollment Deposit.

    7 days or less before the program start date

    • No refunds will be issued.

    After the Program Begins

    Once the first day of class has begun, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including withdrawal, dismissal, or failure to complete the program.

    All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing. Approved refunds will be processed within 30 business days.

  • Enrollment is limited to six students per cohort to ensure every student receives individualized instruction and hands-on experience.

    Once a cohort reaches capacity, enrollment closes.

    We encourage prospective students to apply early to reserve their seat.
